Washington’s own MLB team is using drone photography to capture creative imagery at spring training in Florida.

The team made headlines this week because it had not asked the FFA for permission and was obviously using the drone for commercial purposes.

Most photographers who use drones for their own purposes, typically do not charge clients for the photo shoot, rather charge them for time editing the photos.

But if you wanted to see what the Nationals’ photo shoot looked like last month, CBSSports.com reported that the team and photographer Donald Miralle were using the drone to get footage that was meant to be used on the scoreboard at Nationals Park this season. (Watch the drone in action here).
